G & C HOUSE

This project involves the major renovation of an apartment unit, where all existing finishes and interior walls of the unit were gutted out and redone. 

The home owners gave a challenging brief to create an island in the kitchen that was long and narrow, and to create distinct dining, living and play areas in the living space.

After removing and adding some walls on plan, Nomads Design managed to create a kitchen with an island and plenty of storage, to the pleasant surprise of the home owners.

The interior design was kept simple, with plenty of storage to keep the house neat and clean.  There were also plenty of "white" spaces and surfaces for the owners to display their child's art collection, and the lady's plant collection.  The spaces are kept bright and airy, a reflection of the owners' generous and carefree spirit.
