Z HOUSE

Nomads Design was tasked to add a screening wall on the front elevation of the existing house, and to add a swimming pool to the landscape area.

The screening wall was designed to integrate with the existing facade of the house, while adhering to the Owner's brief for more privacy at the main entrance of the house. 

The addition of the swimming pool was challenging due to the odd-shape of the house plot and the odd shape of the landscape area where the pool is to be added. An organic shape pool was thus conceived, where the water embraces the house naturally at the sea-fronting side.

This creates a seamless visual  of the foreground pool "flowing into" the background sea, giving rise to a sense of tranquility when one looks out of the house towards the sea.
